Vibe Scheduling provides all the key functions you need to manage your vehicle fleet effectively.
Vibe includes a graphical display of the current DVASS schedule that gives an overview of the current and future reservations, relocations and other activities in the schedule. This view can be filtered by cities and/or fleet models as required. A separate section shows any reservation that could not be scheduled and allows the user to take appropriate actions to accomodate them. These include things like forcing a rental onto a vehicle that would not normally be used for the particular product hired.
Vibe and DVASS allow you to create and maintain relocation rules. These provide the relocation paths that may be considered by the schedule in determining whether or not a reservation request may be accepted. Additional relocation rules are used to specify relocations that may be used to improve the schedule once reservations have been accepted. Relocation rules include information such as to and from cities, duration, cost, date ranges and fleet models for which they are allowed. DVASS uses these costs, durations and dates in determining what it schedules.
Vibe and DVASS allow you to create and maintain substitution rules. These set up the fleet models that may be used by the schedule in determining whether or not a reservation request for a particular product may be accepted. Additional substitution rules are used to tell DVASS the fleet models that may be assigned to a rental to improve the schedule once reservations have been accepted. Substitution rules provide DVASS with a list of fleet models that may be assigned to each rental product. Each of these rules also includes fixed and daily cost and the date ranges when they are allowed to be used. DVASS uses these costs in determining what it schedules.
